Share a board: display and control links
Who can see a board, who can run it, and how to hand it to a helper.
The three links
| Link | Who can use it |
|---|---|
Display link (/display/…) | Anyone who has it can watch the overlay. Nothing on it can be changed. |
Control link (/control/…) | Anyone who has it can run the board with you — score, clock and graphics. |
Scorekeeper link (/scorekeeper/…) | A phone-sized scoring page. It asks the helper to sign in. |
Treat the control link like a key: share it only with the people you want scoring. Every board’s share code is long and unguessable, but anyone you send it to can pass it on.
Run a game with more than one person
Open the same control link on two devices — say a laptop for graphics and a phone for the score. Every change reaches every device and the overlay at once, and typing in one never overwrites what someone is typing in another.
